At Renne's, your children will receive excellent care in a loving environment.
- Renne's Romper Room has been operating for ten years. We have been in the current location for seven years.
- The goal of Renne's Romper Room is to teach children to get along with other, make friends that will last forever, and explore the world through many different media. We also stress having fun while learning.
- Renne's Romper Room will not discriminate in enrolling or hiring due to race, creed, ethnic background, or religion.
- When children come to Renne's Romper Room, they will learn the importance of friendships and how to make and maintain them throughout the years. They will also learn to respect themselves and others and their property. The children will also come to know that they are loved and respected as individuals, and they will be treated as such.
- While in care, the children will be doing many different things to aid in their learning. They will have free time to explore the surroundings, make new friends, and play with old friends as well. They will be taken outside daily (weather permitting) to play organized games such as tag, kick ball, and Ring-Around-the-Rosie. These games are just a few that we play to teach the children social skills, as well as the importance of teamwork and how to work as a team to accomplish a task. The children will also have free time to make up their own games and play with the toys that are provided.
- While the children are inside, they will be grouped according to age or ability. While in their groups they learn things such as letters, numbers, colors, shapes, beginning math and reading skills, and more.
- The school children do things such as reading contests, math contests, practice map and measuring skills, and receive help with their homework.
- All children use the computers at least twice per week!
